What keeps you excited in the studio? I never stop experimenting and learning.
Looking back at your trajectory as an artist, how would you say your work has developed? I have learned (hopefully) when to stop…
What role do you think the artist has in today’s society? The world needs creative people who create work which resonates with the soul.
What’s the most important advice you could give to an aspiring artist? Get a teaching credential, so you can earn a steady living while practicing your passion.
Does age matter in art? Why or why not? No- because all that matters is your passion for the medium.
What can we look forward to from you next? Bigger- edgier.
Is there anything else you would like to share about being an artist later in life? My art is what keeps me young, and i will forever be grateful for this passion of mine for clay.
